Vero Left and Vero Right

This Weekend’s Art Extravaganza was to do the same portrait twice, once with your non-dominant hand and once with your dominant hand.  It was a very interesting experiment and experience.  I didn’t have a huge amount of difference in control between the two hands.  Not enormously surprising as I’m left handed but do lots of things with my right (golf, switch hit).  I also haven’t been drawing for very long — so I don’t think I’m as ingrained as other artists.  I think my left hand captured the details of the pose better, although it was the second one — so it might just have been repetition.  You can certainly see the left-handed graphite smears more clearly!
